Hello!

My name is Madeline, but you can call me Maddy (mostly everyone does). I am currently a student at Cornell University, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science (B.S.) in Information Science in December 2024. My focus is on learning and collaborating to shape the future of technology. With a passion for driving social impact through storytelling and a human-centered approach, I strive to utilize my diverse skill set to enact meaningful change. I thrive in environments fostering strong team cultures and excel in tasks requiring strategic thinking, analytical skills, creativity, and effective communication.

As a mentor for Women in Computing at Cornell (WICC), Programming and Outreach Coordinator for the Cornell Gender Equity Resource Center, and student liaison to the President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW), as well as a 2023 Women in Sports Tech (WiST) Fellow , I am deeply committed to advancing opportunities for women and gender-expansive minorities, especially in the technology space.

I also enjoy creating short films to capture my travel adventures. Offline, you'll often find me outdoors, whether running, biking, hiking, or enjoying a good book. You can reach me at mkd79@cornell.edu.
